Mission

The Greater Jackson Alliance was organized to develop and implement a marketing strategy to promote the Greater Jackson area, to enhance cooperation between the various governmental jurisdictions in the metro area, and to facilitate and coordinate economic development efforts for the Greater Jackson area.  To carry out its mission, GJA serves as the point of contact for companies considering locating or expanding in the Greater Jackson area, acts as the clearinghouse for prospect inquiries, and facilitates prospect visits and tours.  In addition, GJA works in tandem with other economic development groups, governmental entities, and private concerns to provide companies interested in Greater Jackson with the information and assistance they need.
