Workforce Training
Mississippi is an innovator in the development and implementation of The Workforce Education Program designed to help provide companies with the productive workforce they need via partnerships with local community colleges and working with the WIN Job Centers. Greater Jackson has three community colleges that offer custom job-training programs to companies, which are provided at little or no cost to the companies. Greater Jackson also has a comprehensive educational system of universities and colleges that offer degree-granting programs, vocational and technical training, and specialized courses of study.
